HCC Qualified Teachers

HCC Core Features

Heritage Community College thrives to provide the best education to our students to prepare them for a bright future.

Academic Advising

Academic advisors assist you in planning your course of study, while tutors are readily available to help you in any subject matter, ensuring that you maintain a strong academic performance.

Small Class Sizes

Students always benefit from getting to know their professors. In classes with a smaller student-to-faculty ratio, you’re given individual attention and have the opportunity to establish lasting connections with your professors. Asking questions, expressing opinions, and engaging in an open discussion with your professors and classmates are strongly encouraged and promote a higher level of learning.

Global Workforce

Every student has his or her own professional goals—that’s why HCC takes a personalized approach to your career management.

Dedicated Support Services

We understand that every student has individual needs. Our Student Services team is here to help you complete an application, organize your course schedule, and answer your questions related to your study at the college.

Streamlined Admissions

HCC offers a simple, streamlined admissions process for international students that includes a variety of outcomes designed to ensure your success inside and outside of the classroom. The admissions outcome that is best for you will depend on your academic qualifications, English-language level and personal preferences.

Career Preparation

Learn to use classroom knowledge in the real world and turn your degree into your life’s work. We connect students to great employers.

HCC Focuses On

HCC makes sure that the students are industry-ready by the time they complete the course.

01. Small Class Size

We ensure to provide small class sizes: It has been proven that students learn faster and perform better in smaller classes. A class size of fewer than 20 students often results in more individual attention, increased participation, and better communication between the instructor and students. Students not only receive more feedback from their peers and instructors, but they also tend to encounter more opportunities for hands-on learning than those in large classes.

02. Career Focused Programs

Each Heritage Community College program has a single goal: to prepare the student for a career. Success depends upon distinction, and students must emerge from their education well prepared and ready to conquer the greatest challenges their profession can present, we are ready for that.

03. Closely Guided Work Experience Opportunities

In all of our programs we provide opportunities for you to apply your knowledge and skills outside of the classroom. The student will have the opportunity to gain work experience during the practicum time.

04. Government Designated

We are a designated learning institution approved by the British Columbia government to host international students; we also work together with Work BC and the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction to ensure that our programs are built for the needs of our community and society.

Face Masks will be recommended on campus for all indoor public spaces, along with active health screenings currently being conducted by the front desk, as well as reduced campus access.

We remind the College community that stopping the spread of COVID-19 relies on everyone doing their part, including immunization, daily self-administered health checks, staying home when sick, and practicing hand hygiene.
