HCC For International Students

Studying as an international student can be a rewarding and life-changing experience! Canada is a popular choice for many international students for its high education standards, beautiful cities, and high quality of life. Choosing the right school is especially important when studying abroad. Heritage Community College is home to many International Students who are an important part of our college community, and we are committed to helping you every step of the way!
If you are an International Student please use the below step-by-step instructions to apply for admission.

Step 1

Apply for your area of study at Heritage Community College by completing an online application form.

Step 2

Your application must include the following items:

  • Education documents such as report cards, Official Transcripts and/or certificates
  • A copy of your passport biodata and photo pages
  • A copy of your official IELTS score OR proof of an equivalent English Proficiency such as TOEFL
  • $295 CDN application fee
  • Step 3

    We will send you a conditional acceptance letter within 3 to 5 days from the date we receive your full application, which must include all required documents and fees.

    Step 4

    Once you meet all the requirements outlined in your conditional offer, your confirmation of acceptance will be issued in the form of an Official Letter of Acceptance sent to you.

    Step 5

    You can apply for your Canadian student visa once you receive your Official Letter of Acceptance from Heritage Community College.

    Step 6

    As soon as your visa is approved, please send us a copy of the approval by email.

    Step 7

    If your visa is refused, please send us a copy of the refusal letter by email. We require that visa refusal letter to process your refund. Refunds are issued within 4 to 6 weeks of receiving and verifying the letter.

    Heritage Community College is following guidelines and direction provided by the Provincial Health Officer, Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training, and Work Safe BC along with the BC Restart Plan and the Ministry’s Return-to-Campus Guidelines.

    Face Masks will be required on campus for all indoor public spaces, along with active health screenings currently being conducted by the front desk, as well as reduced campus access.

    We remind the College community that stopping the spread of COVID-19 relies on everyone doing their part, including immunization, daily self-administered health checks, staying home when sick, and practicing hand hygiene.
