Profile

Dr. Maliha Nazir is an Instructor at Heritage Community College. She did her Ph.D. in Economics from the USA as a Fulbright Scholar in 2017. She has a diverse academic background with an MBA and a BS in Computer Science. Her teaching interests include business and economic theory in practice. Dr. Maliha Nazir has spent many years in the US as an international student and has also taught international students from both developed and developing countries. She understands the challenges of life in a developed country and she is passionate to assist other international students to succeed in their life by achieving goals. Her vision for academia is to promote an education system that enables the students to grow intellectually as well as socially to pursue their dreams. She believes that success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. Dr. Maliha Nazir is an adventurous person who has done sky-diving as well as jet-skiing. During leisure, she prefers to go out for sight-seeing and enjoys listening to podcasts and music.
