Health, safety, mental health services, and addiction and overdose supports
HCC prioritizes the mental well-being of all students by providing access to counselling services, mental health resources, and ongoing support. Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses, is available for free on campus. Students can receive free training online or in person, and staff can discreetly help them access a kit. Free Naloxone kits are also available at BC pharmacies, London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart, community clinics, and overdose prevention sites.
